The above photo was from our hotel balcony.

I booked the hotel via booking.com - to be fair I did not expect a lot as it was only £45 for 4 nights for 3 people. That included breakfast which was superb also. The room was very large & as my daughter was only 5 she had her own bed in our room. The hotel was almost brand new, and more like a good old fashioned guest house than a hotel, even the dog was allowed to stop. To get to the high street with all the restaurants and bars, plus the lift that takes you to the top of the ski slope was a 15 minute walk, with some breathtaking mountain views.

It has the lot, superb bars/restaurants with food from most countries, a huge T-bone steak and a beer will set you back £15.00. Some restaurants have live music, traditional music to the local area. The beer for the most part is brewed locally and the local cheese is made from sheep dairy, and is a very unusual tasting cheese. (worth a try)

A ride to the top of the mountain in a carriage is only a few of them £'s also.

The bar below has a grill behind the bar, you choose your food and it gets cooked fresh in front of you, the atmosphere is a delight to be in, the food was beyond compare, the staff were superbly friendly also, out of 10? 10.

The photo below is just off the high street, at the base of the mountain. A horse and cart is around £20 for 30 minutes, we did partake in a ride, it takes you around the mountain roads with some stunning views..

Okay so we know it only costs a few $'s to get to the top, you can walk up it if you like, we took the lazy route though, once at the top you have again masses of choice for restaurants and bars, huts selling souvenirs and the odd conman or three trying to rip tourists off with spot the dice under a cup or three. They run fast when the law turns up, avoid at all cost.

I will leave you with some random shots to get the feel, and stop waffling.

Nearest airport is Krakow, and that is also a 10/10 place to visit, that I will cover in another post, this post would have included a lot more photos if stinc sorted the site out so that you do not get error 50 times per upload.

Deliberators verdict = a very cheap holiday indeed, and some beautiful sights to boot.
