Holiday Update: 2 Great Gadgets to Give as Presents!

in #holiday7 years ago (edited)

Having trouble deciding what sort of technological marvel you'd like to give your loved ones for Christmas or New Years?

You've come to the right place because in this article I'm going to go over two great tech gift ideas to brighten up a loved one's holidays with.

1.) Portable Beats - Roland TR-08 Rhythm Composer

Join great artists like Talking Heads and Kanye West... Each has made songs with the Roland TR-808 Drum Machine's deep beats and robotic claps.

It's quite expensive to get your hands on those rare and vintage machines as they can easily go for five thousand dollars or more. But guess what, the 808's magic can be found right here in the Roland TR-08 Rhythm Composer. It comes packaged with the signature sound, an affordable pricetag and its extremely compact. You can pick this bad boy up for $349 from roland.com.

2.) Polaroid Onestep 2

Everybody who was around in the 1980s and 90s is probably familiar with a Polaroid camera right? This brand new Polaroid OneStep 2 i-Type Camera, does what the old ones used to but better. It offers instant photography in a new crisp package.

Its a fixed-focus point-and-shooter which needs to be loaded with brand new i-Type film. Its not cheap to be a Polaroid photographer as shots cost about $2/each but it does bring that timeless look (and format) matching the old classic polaroid shots. Its high tech because it brings the ability to recharge via USB, and one thing that I think makes this camera a keeper is the fact that it has controls for exposure and flash. You can get the Onestep 2 for $99 from Polaroid.com.

Techblogger Wrap Up

The holidays are a special time when people like to get together and share precious moments. So this year why not bring a little fun to the table, make some beats with the classic Roland 808 sound and snap some instant photos while you are doing it!

What do you guys think of these two gift suggestions? Anyone feel like they have to have either of these new gadgets?

Hi Sir. Was the winner of the tech blogger competition announced?

I´m really considering that Polaroid camera actually for my little sister. I just remember during my studies that we always had one of those around and it´s really cool to get instant pictures that you don´t have to look at on a screen but rather can take them home :D

I would love that Roland TR-08 Rhythm Composer, I have been a good boy this year Santa! Top tech from @techblogger as always.
