RE: Memories from our trip to Lapland (part 1): Rovaniemi
Awesome family time! Where did you learn Japanese? You know the writing too? That picture with Santa is super funny. Don't you have a larger one?
I think that meeting Santa in the mind of a kid is the coolest thing that can happen. They have a great dad!
I don't know her taste, but the feather seems very unobtrusive like you said and charming. Tell us what she says!
Heh, what I've learned I did so by watching anime and reading manga. From a personal interest I once translated the first episode of Hikaru no Go in Finnish for my boys, both manga and anime.
You can view the photo a bit larger by right clicking on it and choosing "view image".
Vera liked the pendant, she was sad about not being able to take it to work with her as hers involves a lot of lifting things and it might get tangled and break there.
She almost took it to bed with her, so I guess it was a good gift after all.
That's cool. My daughter is a huge anime and manga fan. She got me to go with her to see "Your Name" at the theatre and I was pliantly surprised, I liked it!
Nice. I haven't heard of that one. What kind of film was it?
My boys have an extensive collection of Ghibli movies, and Vera collected the whole Naruto manga from start to finish. Before meeting me she pretty much didn't know such thing as manga existed.
Awesome! I'm glad she liked it! Does she know she is the protagonist in many of your posts? :)
Santa seems to wear two small bear cubs on his feet :D
