A relaxing trip, some beautiful 'Calas' - Holiday season has begun!

So last week, i finished my year with the United Nations in Valencia, and this weekend away signaled the beginning of a 'rest' period for me while i decide and plan what's coming next. I'd certainly like a good break from computers - unless i'm blogging of course!

Mallorca is full of beaches and Calas, or coves, it's just a matter of finding the quiet ones this time of year! Around 2 million tourists visit the island each year, putting pressure on the fresh water supply, and so it's best to take a wash in the beautiful waters :)

We booked an apartment on AirBnB and it didn't disappoint. Situated in a quiet location near the east coast of the island, we received a visit from a Weasel early one morning.

Some of the smaller towns like Andratx and Santanyi hold popular Markets. Plenty of cheap goods to walk past but i do like checking the food stalls out.
