You guys may want to consider using HandBrake. I've made a video on this. This will allow you to have the correct format and compression that will make uploading a lot easier:

I had the same issue and then I tried uploading with the firefox browser. I think the issue is the browser.

Anyone having trouble uploading to Dtube?
This solution already helped a few people today, so I figured there could be more steemiens with similar issue.
I think it is the encoding.
honestly they need to make dtube support the same file types as youtube, get gud dtube. I aint gonna go through the trouble to figure out how to change the file type. i'll just link my youtube vids in steemit posts til dtube gets their crap together.
