Hobbyhub challenge: beachwalking part 3 with the dog
Yesssss, I am back on the beach and my dog is the happiest man alive. Well, actually he is a little bit out of his normal behaviour because he was staying at friends while we were on vacation.
So now he has some serious issues with authority, to specify: my authority.
But that will come back for sure.
Anyway we went beachwalking again finally at our normal spot!. And we ran into our little friend Max again! Max seems a lot less scared compared to three weeks ago, and also a lot better fed. Little Max is getting there!
The dogs had beautiful running session together, and that is perfect since animals listen a lot better when they are tired.
Also you see recovery on our island, but you also still see strange things. Take this beachchair. It looks like a normal spot on the beach, only that it is surrounded by debris makes it an awkward situation. But it reflects our situation perfectly. Normal stuff is getting back, but the background is still strange.

Recovery is usually slow after natural disasters. First question is always, where do we start? Slowly but surely things will come back.
Recovery a multi situation, lots of external factors. I can honestly say that my house is very liveable at the moment, but lots of other houses that is not the deal. But those people might have landlords without insurance, so thats an issue. Also a lot of hotels are smashed, and tourism is our main economy, so that is a next challenge. Also confidence for tourists to return is a next issue, I know cruiseliners are not to fond of dropping by at the moment, but those people also bring in a lot of salaries. So all these things together take time, loooooooots of time!
Cleanup is step 1, confidence is step 2, and promotion is step 3! 1 step at a time :)
