Self-service laundry shop | 自助洗衣乾衣店

Last Sunday I did my laundry at a nearby Self-served Laundry shop, let me share more about this shop as it is kind of new in Hong Kong, although this kind of shops are very common in U.S. and many other countries.

剛過去的星期天，我在家附近的自助洗衣乾衣店清洗衣服. 雖然在外國例如美國這種店舖是很普遍，但在香港仍算是很新鮮的存在，所以我想在這再詳細一點說說。

This shop is very popular, machines are usually fully occupied most of the time. As mentioned in my previous post, January starts the wet season of Hong Kong,it will take forever for washed clothes to dry. Maybe that's the reason why there were too many customers.

這店顧客不少，所有機器都經常爆滿。大概是因為我之前所說的一樣，香港在一月份開始踏入潮濕的季節，衣服難以乾透，所以很多人會光顧洗衣服務而不在家中洗衣乾衣。

The shop is divided into two sessions. First session which is right next to the door is the laundry session, where all the machines are installed. Second session is inner part of the shop has a set of intelligent lockers installed.

這店分為兩個部分，剛進門就是洗衣乾衣的部分。洗衣乾衣的機器就是安裝在這裏。再往裏面走就是另一部分，那裏裝有一排智能貯物櫃。

There are totally 10 machines in the laundry session, 5 drying machines one the top while 5 washing machines at the bottom. Payment Station is at the opposite wall.

洗衣乾衣部分有10台機器，分別是5台洗衣機和5台乾衣機。而它們面對着的牆上就是付款處。

To use the machines is easy, put your clothes into one or more of the machine(s), select the machine at Payment Station, D1 to D5 for drying machines and W1 to W5 for washing machines. Pay the indicated amount by Octupus card. Then go to the machine, press either Wash or Dry button, then press Start button. That's it!

只要把衣物放進機器，在付款處選擇機器號碼，即對應乾衣機的D1至D5及對應洗衣機的W1至W5.), 再利用八達通付款。再到機器上面，先按"Wash"或"Dry"按鈕，再按"Start", 即可。

HK$20 per use of washing machine, HK$30 per use of drying machine. That means with just HK$50, I can wash and dry clothes of 23 lbs, cheaper than using laundry service.

價格方面是，港幣$20洗衣服一機，港幣$30乾衣服一機。即是說只需港幣$50就可以清潔最多23磅的衣物，比起一般的洗衣店收費低的多。

One reminder is to make sure you check and clean the filter of drying machine. This is to ensure the hot air in drying machine won't be blocked. I forgot to do this at my first time of drying and the clothes was not completely dried, which made me very disappointed. Then I realized I missed this important step. After I cleaned the filter, all the clothes was completely dried!

要提醒大家一件事，就是要緊記在使用乾衣機之前，要根據指示把那隔塵網清潔好，好使乾衣用的熱風可以暢通無阻的吹進去。我的親身經歷，第一次使用乾衣機時，沒有這樣使，結果整機衣服沒有完全乾透。後來清潔了隔塵網之後，衣物就可以全乾了！

Finally, the locker set. It is those intelligent lockers that the courier company used to receive and send packages to its customers. While I was waiting for my clothes to be dried, there were couple of people came and got their packages.

最後就是那智能貯物櫃。它是由速遞公司安裝在這裏方便客戶交付或收取快遞的。就在我等待乾衣的時間裏，眼見多名人士從那裏收取快件。

BTW, if you want to wait for your clothes here, whic is 40mins for washing and another 40 mins for drying, there is free Wifi for you to get connected! At least I could keep checking Steemit when I am doing my laundry!

呀，如果你會在店中等待，它還貼心的有着免費的Wifi服務，好讓顧客在等待洗衣和乾衣各40分鐘的時間裏繼續保持連線。最少我就不會跟Steemit斷絕連繫呢！
