We have May and it is in UK spring that means some early vegetables typical for spring now available and usually they appear early and people can collect them and enjoy the freshness, because they are first local vegetables and I wanted to share this vegetable here today. I love Spring in general because we have again sun, warm days and enjoy being outside.
Asparagus is one of the popular vegetables, you can buy it by farmers and also in supermarket. Understandably from farmers they are much more delicious and tasty, but sometimes you can not go to farmer markets and just buy in supermarkets. The price here is £1.75 or 8.13 Steem per 100g.
I like this vegetable because it is rich in water that means very juicy. You can prepare it very easily just out in water and boil it for about 10 minutes, some people put salt, pepper with garlic and put it in cooker to roast. Sometimes you just serve it with salmon and fry potatoes. In spring people try to get as often such vegetable as possible. Also as students this is one of the easiest dish to cook.
I usually buy this vegetable from my friend, because her grandfather has own farm and he is grown them himself and selling on local market. We usually go there on weekend and buy 200-300 gram and usually cook couple of times a week. My friend often invites us to their farm and we help her grandfather with collecting them and then we are allowed to gave some for free too.

My friend your favourite vegetable is so beneficial for healthy life. I have listened this name first time. I agree Asparagus contains vitamins, fibers, minerals in much quantity which is essential for a healthy health. It contains vitamin k especially and It is best for heart health, digestion, immunity.
