Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to write for the contest that is running by @helengutier2 here is the link:

Yes, like yourself I come often across the situation when we check clotting factors before some procedures and also surgeries. There are some conditions when blood is not able to clot correctly and patients might have prolonged bleeding even when they receive small injuries. You might remember the historical situation with the son of Russian tzar family, who suffered from it. A actually Haemophilia can be transmitted by daughters but be recessive in boys they become symptomatic.
The other coagulopathy is when blood clots much faster that is also dangerous as it may lead to blood clots to legs, lungs and cause stroke sometimes be lethal.
There are different classification, some of them we are born with, our parents and their parents had those genes in their DNA and often they could be dominant gene then they present themselves even if one member of family has but also it could be connected with either “X” or “Y”, they may be only boy affected or girls. Also if the gene is recessive then both parents have to have these genes.
If bleeding happens at home then you have to apply direct pressure with hand or some clean tissue and try to make a bandage. If there is a foreign body anywhere in our body do not remove it and deliver the casualty in such condition to hospital. The object might be working as a plug.
In hospital blood group and antibodies will be checked as well as clotting factors, because it is not enough just to give the same blood products but also we have to make sure that clotting is corrected.
There are many different ways of management of coagulation:
simple staff that we do is Vitamin K that is vitamin that our body uses to create clotting factors
tranexanic acid, that is medication that often used in Gynecology for heavy bleeding and that helps to prevent fibrin that is in clots to break down, so it forms clots and stops bleeding
There are already balance Clotting factors that blood bank can prepare and store for emergencies
Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) that usually has all necessary plasma component that has everything to help our body to stop bleeding and it is usually used when we have mass blood transfusion
there are also platelets pools that are prepared for those who have problems with their own platelets and it is helps to stop bleeding in such patients
I am inviting following users for contest @dequeen, @memamun, @sitaraindaryas

Hi @stef1, clotting factors are usually known before any surgeries or medical care. Coagulation is simply a process where the blood doesn't clot in the a well, this can lead to excessive bleeding. Coagulation problems in most cases are been inherited from parents to their offsprings, this is absolutely true because most diseases are passed down from one generation to the next. The body requires vitamin K and we are expected to consume foods containing this vitamin which are Spinach, broccoli and kale. This is really a quality content, bravo amigo.
Thanks for the support, much appreciated.
