It was weeks of decisions at stalemate and it was proving more and more futile the longer it went on as the Tron time failed time and time again to even put together a coherent communication, let alone act upon what they said they would do. At some point, the negotiation has to be cut loose.
I'm not arguing against the fork. I just find it sad and pathetic how quickly you and others here are to demonize the people as supporting centralization when many just didnt approve of freezing the steem account.

You keep throwing around poor arguments like being pro-centralization even though you admit that most of the people on the list were voting for witnesses to prevent either side from making a rash decision.
It wasn't even a poorly thought out choice to you, all you can see it as is an outright attack against your home.
That is demonization to the core.

No I do not admit that. Most did it for their own personal advantage in the way that everyone pretty much acts. they used it as a power play to increase their value.

Yes. They voted to prevent them from forking the chain, which is why they don't get the airdrop. The prevention had nothing to do with stopping rash decisions beyond the protection of their own stake.
