My first post in HIVE.BLOG !
I want to try to post from this website for the first time. It's intereting where it will be posted. I've been told that maybe posted in steem now because the hive chain is not ready yet.

The excitement of steem community is really high about this fork. I'm glad to see most steemians happy about that in the comments.
It's really interesting to see what applications will move to hive.
I hope steempeak, busy and others will have the option of posting in hive.
Imagine if all dapps will move. Steem will be so empty.
What's your feelings about all this ?
I think Justin will be very sad to see his investment going down. lol
I see most of stakeholders are willing to power down after the airdrop and they will sell steem and buy hive.
I expect a big dump of steem and the price will go very low.
It was a hard decision for everyone to make, but I think it's maybe the only solution to not let Justin restrict our freedom.

But, they wrote that in the announcement. I want everyone to be sure that they will get that. It's always good to confirm to not miss the chance. I did what they asked and I hope everyone will do.
You do not have to do anything to participate in the airdrop. All Steem accounts will get the exact same balance they had in their Steem wallet but in HIVE cOINS.
Only people who want to test the hive testnet before it is available to the public were asked to leave a comment.
Just an observation bro so people don't panic on how to claim their Hive account and coins. All their balanced will be transferred automatically.
Here is the announcement :
All valid STEEM stakeholders will receive a perfectly mirrored balance of their current STEEM holdings in the new HIVE coin. This will include matching amounts of current liquid STEEM, Steem Power, and SBD.
For example: if your Steem account has 10 STEEM, 5 SBD, and 1000 SP, your new Hive account will have 10 HIVE, 5 HBD, and 1000 HP.
You will not need to claim anything. Simply log in with your existing Steem account details and you will have your new HIVE coins in your wallet and be able to start using the blockchain

Yeah, right now hive.blog points back to STEEM, but will switch over on Friday, along with whatever front-ends decide to function off HIVE.
I feel fine about all this — have been waiting for the announcement for days ever since it became apparent that negotiations were going nowhere. Just wrote about how I feel that endlessly increasing chains is a good thing for the crypto space as a whole. Let everyone decide where the value lies for themselves!

Alex you can click through and wallets of the witnesses and see that a lot of em already started to power down.
That means:
a) The Socks might soon just own the Top20
b) These Witnesses are on a retreat from STEEM
If they start selling in a few weeks, we can only imagine what that will look like.
Yeah, the other problem as well that noone will be interested to buy and that will push the price down from both sides. I guess most steemians also start selling.
After the Airdrop maybe, we'll see. But often if there are sellers, there also are buyers. Gouvernance will sure change, the project might survive anyway - but it will be very different in the future.

I tried to post via keychain and it was posted in steem. Maybe after the launch it will be like you said.
