New Synagogue Berlin

The New Synagogue on Oranienburger Straße in Spandauer Vorstadt in the Mitte district of Berlin is a building of outstanding importance for the history of the Jews in Berlin and an important architectural monument. It was inaugurated in 1866. The part of the building that still exists is listed. It was reopened after restorations in 1995, but not rededicated. The architects were Eduard Knoblauch and Friedrich August Stüler.
