Hey @sachin-suresh here from Sri Lanka, today I'm gonna talk about the Top 5 meals I ate this week but first I wanna thank @saintkelvin17 for organizing this contest.

Italian bread

This is a bread that I made this week it's easy to make and super tasty. I was looking for an easy bread recipe and I saw a YouTube short from this channel called Itsqcp. Usually, bread is not easy to make it takes time and practice to make perfect bread every time but this bread needs only 4 ingredients,

  • all-purpose flour
  • Dry yeast
  • tomatoes
  • olive oil

First, you need to mix all the dry ingredients (flour & yeast) Then you can add warm water and mix it and form a dough that kinda sticks, then leave it for at least 1hr and you can kneed it for few times and leave another 30mins, after that you can punch it and make some holes in the dough and pour some of that olive oil into that dough and throw some tomatoes and anything you want and bake it for 30mins. That's it enjoy the Italian goodness from home in less than 2 hours. This tastes like pizza but it's bread with tomatoes you can enjoy it as your evening snack.

Oats Pancake

This is a meal that I enjoy every day, It's healthy, It's delicious and it's also easy to make. If you craving for some cheat meal but you can't because it's not your cheat day! don't worry I got you, this is the perfect meal for you. It makes you full and happy at the same time and it takes only 5 minutes to make and needs only 5 ingredients,

  • Oats flour
  • milk
  • baking powder
  • an egg
  • sugar and salt

First, you need to whisk the egg and add it to the flour and mix like you beating your haters add some milk, I use coconut milk but you can use your favorite milk and then add baking powder, sugar, and salt and mix well. Then heat up your pan and mix that mixture into the pan and wollah your easy healthy breakfast pancake is ready. you can add your fav syrup to this and enjoy.

Dhal wade

This is an Indian snack that I made today, You guys won't believe how good it is, it's perfect with a chai. Indian foods are always one of my top choices and this is a snack that again you can make easily and quickly when you feel hungry at home This is healthy too because it is made from dhal and dhal means vegan protein so there is nothing to worry about. These are the ingredients you want,

  • Dhal
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Curry leaves
  • green chilies
  • MSG ( optional)
  • salt and chili flakes
  • cardamom

First, you have to soak the dhal for 10 - 15mins and you can blend 50% from that dhal because you should keep the other 50% for the mixture. then mix those 2 portions and add diced onions, green chilies, curry leaves, and all the other ingredients Mix well and form any shape you want air fry them for 200c for 10 minutes and enjoy with a chai. This is spicy and umami, you can feel all those things with this.

Bread sticks ( seeni murukku )

These are some sweet snacks that my sister made yesterday, I don't know the exact name for this but according to my experience, it felt like breadsticks dipped in sugar syrup and deep fried. I dunno how to make this snack but it's sweet and perfect for the evening and as a late-night snack but health WARNING! contains loads of calories, so don't eat every day. If you want the recipe of this comment below I'll ask my sister and write a post about it too.

Egg fried rice

The last meal on my list is a Chinese meal, I found this one from a YouTube channel called Uncle roger, It is an easy recipe and a tasty one too but not healthy because this one is made from white rice but it is spicy and also umami because we use lots of MSG for this, so here is the ingredient list,

  • leftover rice
  • 2 Eggs
  • vegetables ( carrot, leeks, onions...)
  • MSG
  • salt and pepper

First, you should take your wok not pan WOK, and heat it up add your favorite oil and wait add your garlic and onion and saute it well until golden brown add other vegetables except tomatoes and wait until all the vegetables are cooked. After that, you can add your eggs and mix them well finally add rice MSG, and soy sauce and mix it for another 3-4 mins and enjoy.
