Contest || Draw a Giraffe 🦒||

Introduction

Hi guys it's another creative contest, we are to draw a giraffe so am going to make a simple drawing of a giraffe 🦒 use pen, the steps will be display Below 👇 to help guide you in archiving it.

Please keep this in mind that drawing is another way for an individual expressing his or her self, so the way the art is presented determine how the artists wants, arts is a language learn to understand it.

Another thing also is before archiving a better work of art you need to understand few principles of art which are the guidelines in making work of art.

This is the real picture which am going to copy using pen on a cardboard paper, a reference picture saves as a guide also in archiving exactly what I which to achieve.

Finished work

This is the out come of the time and energy spent, it took me 30minutes to achieve this I try my best to make it very simple so kids can easily learn from.

Step 1

---

I made the sketch of the giraffe 🦒 on my paper 📜 using pen, this step requires you to be patience and you should take your time and not rush it to avoid mistake especially when drawing with pen it's cannot be erase if mistake is made.

Step 2

---

I now start marking the part that is always on a giraffe boddy like a tattoo, and then identify the dark part that requires shade and the one that requires light 🕯️.

Step 3

---

This is the last step, I took my time to go through my drawing by making sure that the picture is well interpreted on the cardboard, by checking my shading and correcting some mistakes, this is the most important part in art "Finishing"🦒
