I am talking about former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly. His cricket career has inspired me a lot. My inspirational cricketer is Prince of Kolkata Sourav ganguly.His cricket career has inspired me a lot.sourav ganguly was very attacking & talented player.Sourav Ganguly has taken Indian cricket to new heights.sourav ganguly is an Indian cricket administrator, commentator and former national cricket team captain who is the 39th and current president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

Sourav Ganguly was born July 8, 1972 behala Kolkata India.He is regarded as one of India's most successful captains in modern times,and one of the greatest ODI batsmen of all time.Ganguly scored three runs in his (ODI) debut for India in 1992.He was dropped immediately.

He was recalled to the National team for a tour of England in 1996. He played in a single ODI,but was omitted from the team for first test.Ganguly made his Test debut against England in the Second Test of a three-match series. He scored 131 runs and cemented his place in the Indian team.

He led India into the 2003 world cup final. He was dropped from the team in the following year . 2004 Almost all the selectors were against taking Dhoni to the team. After a long debate, when the then captain Sourav Ganguly was asked who he wanted, the answer was L Dhoni. But the rich have repeatedly failed after coming to the swing. Despite having so much talent, it is not a player who can be lost by playing so badly. So Sourav Ganguly gave his number three position to Dhoni. Then came a new history. Sundar proved himself with a century and then did not have to look back. He had Sourav Ganguly's hand on his head. Sourav Ganguly was an ideal cricketer and with him a cricketer-making craftsman.

Sourav Ganguly's cricket career is very diverse. Despite playing very well, he had to be dropped from the team. But Sourav Ganguly did not break down and returned to the team. So I am very proud of Sourav Ganguly.He returned to the National team in 2006, and made successful batting displays.His odi career was so brilliant & strong.
