I really like Cricket. Even When I'm writing this post, I'm watching a test match. It's It's New Zealand vs Pakistan 2nd Test match. Whether it's a Test match or ODI or T20, if I can watch I'll watch.

So, I've seen many successful stories in cricket. Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, Virat Kohli, Babar Azam are some of them. Some of those stories of success are Inspirational. And I found Virat Kohli's story More Inspirational than others.

We all know how the Present Virat Kohli. And he didn’t come to that stage in overnight. He was the Under 19 Captain for India in 2008 Under 19 World Cup. And he performed there very well to lead his team to win the U19 World Cup.

In the National Team of India, Virat Kohli is a Top Order Batsman usually comes as One Down Batsman. And over these years, he’s been so successful and it kept growing over the years. He already has 70 Centuries in International Level. It’s pretty sure that he can pass Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 Centuries in International Level.

As we all know, since 2017 he is the Number One ranked ODI Batsman. And now it’s 2021. I think that’s a record too. He was The Best Test Batsman until Kane Williamson took over the Throne after hitting a few Centuries and Double Centuries. Also he is a Top ranked T20i Batsman too. Virat Kohli have 50+ averages in All Formats. That is hard to maintain and He is good at it.

Why Kohli??

It’s because how he managed to Achieve his goals. It’s purely Through Dedication. Suresh Raina is older Than him. Look where he is now. Not even in the squad. He know what he want to be. And he is fully into that. He is so Focused on his Fitness. He practice one more hour than normal schedule. His Fielding is Brilliant, especially in Slip Cord.

Look how he play strokes. He is not a Power Hitter. He just use the Speed of The Ball and Wrist. Strokes are flawless. Right on The Sweet Spot of The Bat. He don’t Work hard when he’s Batting. He work Smart.

Being a Gentleman

Kohli is usually Aggressive in natural. He is The Captain so he has to be Aggressive. But, he is more gentleman than he was before and It’s a Big change I see in Kohli. With what he had achieved, he has become Humble. I hope You’ve seen the Incident in 2019 ICC World Cup.

In the match vs Australia, people were Hooting at Steve Smith. And Kohli said to the crowd to Applause for Smith. That was the best Gentleman scene I’ve seen in Years. I would like to see more as a spectator.

The Routine Kohli followed brought him all the things he has right now. Even Anushka Sharma. He worked hard to Find the rhythm and he got it. Now he just has to Work Smart. He’s Humble. He’s a True Gentleman. It’s no doubt many Cricketers would love to be Like Kohli. Not only for me, Kohli is an Inspirational Character for the Whole World. So, be Inspired...
