CSK suffered their 7th defeat against RR. RR beat CSK by 7 wickets. CSK just won 3 matches out of 10 matches. On the other hand RR improved their position to qualify the playoffs though still they have to win all matches to qualify. CSK aren't completely out of playoffs but there are lot of conditions. If others team will fail to get 16 points and CSK will get 14 points then they have a little chance to qualify. But they are really in bad form and it's almost impossible to qualify. 2020 is such a horror year for CSK in IPL history.
CSK bat first and struggled while very early they lost their top orders. Faf, Watto have gone early. Then Sam, Rayudu played like test cricket. Dhoni, Jadeja came out but failed to score a fighting score. Finally CSK scored total 126 runs by 5 wickets. In reply RR also lost their top order very early. Smith and Butlet came out. Smith played defending and Butler played an attacking innings of 70 runs in 48 balls including 7 fours and 2 sixes. Really a boring match finished without any competition. Butler was man of the match. Today another high voltage match between DC vs KXIP is coming. I'm waiting for this big match.
A pretty good review.. Yeah, for the first time CSK might eliminate before playoffs. The main reason for that is Dhoni is out of form
Yeah Dhani is out of form and his main weapon Raina isn't playing this season. Really CSK miss this guy.
