Gary Kirsten was never blessed the flair and therefore the almost pure technique of his half-brother Peter, but his discipline, temperament and his penchant for diligence stood during his days as a batsman, when he became so established at the highest of the South African card that it's almost impossible to think how they might cope without him. Then, all those virtues brought him rich rewards after his playing days too, as he became one among the foremost successful and popular coaches of India. The side visited the highest of the Test rankings during his stint, which ended, quite fittingly, with India's World Cup triumph in 2011.
As a batsman, what stood out was his determination, the power to concentrate for long periods and a burning desire to attain runs. A left-hander with a comparatively unique technique, Kirsten simply figured out his strengths and weaknesses and based his game around them. during this respect he was one among the foremost organised batsman to play for South Africa since their readmission. Calm and down to earth , he brought a healthy degree of sense to the art of batting, which possibly explains why off the sector and within the room the dafter side of his personality came out. Periodically, Kirsten endured patches when he persistently got call at similar fashion - chopping the ball on to his stumps, as an example , or getting himself caught down the leg side.

Each time this happened, though, Kirsten worked through the matter , made the adjustments and played himself back to form. He enjoyed to play and gained particular success on the subcontinent - where other players have floundered against the turning ball.

Kirsten was appointed full-time coach for South African national cricket team for 2years on 5 June 2011. His first step was named AB de Villiers as the new captain in the limited overs game and replacing Graeme Smith as the Test captain. Kirsten started his career as a coach on 1 August and his first job was a home series against Australia. After Mickey Arthur resigned after the home series against England in 2009-10, he took over from Carrie Van Jill, who had been the interim coach for 14 months. Under Kirsten, in August 2012, South Africa topped the ICC Test rankings, beating England 2-0.

He was aslo worked in many franchising league such as Hobart Hurricane in 2017,Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2018 and many other.
From my point of view he is the most successful and best coach for any team.

Thats all for today.Hope all of you will like my post.
