One of my favorite cricketers
Hi everyone
Good day everyone
This is my first post to World of Cricket. I am going to tell you about my best cricketer Aravinda de Silva.
His name was Aravinda de Silva I think Aravinda de Silva is the best cricketer in the history of Sri Lankan cricket. who was born on 17/10/1965. In 1984, he played his first international match against England at Lord's Cricket Ground, a Test cricket match. He was 18 years old when he played his first international cricket match. He played Sri Lankan cricket for 20 years from 1984 to 2003.
He was 39 years old when he retired from cricket.
I would be correct to say that Aravinda de Silva, who took the wickets of the Australian front-runners Mark Taylor and Ricky Ponting in the final of the 1996 Cricket World Cup ,Aravinda Silva also won the man of the match trophy. scored an unbeaten 107 off 124 balls to snatch the match from the Australians.Aravinda de Silva, who has excelled in both Tests and ODIs, has crossed the 6000 mark in 159 innings in 93 Test matches. The highest score of 267 in a Test match was against New Zealand.
Aravinda de Silva, who has crossed the 9000 mark in 308 ODIs, has taken 106 wickets. His highest ODI score was 145 against Kenya in the 1996 World Cup.After taking the wicket of Aravinda de Silva, who was a major headache for foreign cricket teams, they were overjoyed as if they had won the match. He was such a strong batsman. The spectators say that if the hero of the tournament owns a car, he will own the car somehow.
Aravinda de Silva's last Test match was against Bangladesh in July 2002. Aravinda de Silva 's last ODI was against the Australians on March 18, 2003. It is a great honor for our country to have such a talented cricket star. Our country needs batsmen like Aravinda de Silva to prevent these current cricket defeats and we hope that such batsmen will re-emerge.
