Background

You all most be aware of the fact that New Zealand has called off Pakistan tour at the eleventh hour due to some so called security concerns which were not revealed at all by the New Zealand Cricket Board.

The Impact

Since, Pakistanis are cricket loving people so they were deeply saddened by this act of New Zealand and they started showing their anger on various social media platforms. PCB's chairman Ramiz Raja was also very furious and said that New Zealand is going to hear from us at ICC. This situation is not good at all, neither for the game nor for the countries who play it. Cricket is called the "Gentleman's Game" so it should be played in that manner. Cricket fraternity is already very small and acts like these can cause some real distress among the nations who play this wonderful game.

Solution

New Zealand should apologize for such unjust behavior and share the information and intelligence with Pakistan. If there are such security threats, then Pakistan's Security forces are battle-hardened and can deal with such situations easily. Sports should always be kept away from politics and should be played in a positive and peaceful environment.
