I think the period which will be considered as green era of Pakistan will be era of 90s. From fast bowlers to world-class rounders, a legendary spinner, and some of the most destructive opening pairs.

Openers

Talking about openers, Saeed Anwar was like a run-machine and a agresssive player . Shahid Afridi, my personal favorite ,the new kid on the block, stunned the world by scoring 100* of 37 and was the best hitter of the era. I think he put
the foundation of hard hitting in cricket

Middle Order

Talking about middle order, the Pakistan team had more stability and experienced players like Aamir Sohail, and Inzamam-ul-Haq, Javied Miandad the pakistani greatest batsmen and the captain Imran Khan also was a very compact batsmen.

All Rounders

All-rounder's department was completed with Abdul Razaaq and Azhar Mahmood not they had good bowling but they were exceptionally good at bowling and won matches for the team.

Bowlers

One can simply say that Pakistan is a land of pacers. The god gifted instincts of the Pakistan team were the bowling unit and with the pacers like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Shoaib Akhtar they had formed the most destructive bowling sides in the 90s.
But spiners were also world class of that time naming Musthaq Ahmed and inventor of Dosra Saqlain Mushtaq
