IPL Mania - My favorite team MI

Hi friends, I’m Damith Udayanga from Sri Lanka.

All the cricket lovers around the world, miss the big tournaments due to this pandemic time. But again the heat of IPL has come. 😍 The last game(27/09/2020) between the Royals and Panjab was nothing but a triller.

We all know that IPL has become a very popular tournament all around the world in no time. So, among all the teams here is about my favorite IPL team. 😍😍 It’s Mumbai Indians. Not only in 2020, but from the beginning in 2008.

Champions 2019

What’s the reason I like it? Mmm... I have no reason to dislike it actually. Mainly from the start of their journey, they showed their best interest in Sri Lankan players. Sanath Jayasuriya, game-changer of ODI cricket played for them for 3 years. And he is the first IPL Centurian for MI. 🥰

And then our speedster Lasith Malinga from 2009. He consistently showed his value to the MI team as well as the Sri Lankan team. His toe crushers were able to make the world-class players on their knees. Last year, his magical last over guided MI to become the champions. Not only the Sri Lankans, but Indians also love him. 🥰🥰 Though he is not playing this year due to family issues, the MI team and IPL platform really helped him a lot for his international carrier, now he is a bowling mentor for the team.

Then the mastermind Mahela (Mayiya), one of my favorite players, is the head coach of the team for 4 years now. He guided the team to win the trophy for 2 out of his 3 years. When he was the captain of Sri Lanka, he could turn around the matches trough his sensible batting as well as tricky decisions.

And Rohit Sharma is my favorite Indian player for a long time. His pull shot is the favorite one. Not wrong to call him as the hitman. He just crossed his 200 6’s mark in IPL. Last year his knocks in the world cup were amazing and fabulous.

Bumrah, Pandya brothers, Chahar, Kishan and pollard, De cock are fascinating players in the team. And this year Linn and Boult also joined the team.

So, there’s a great chance of winning the trophy this year for the fifth time. And best wishes for that. 😍😍
