Happy Birthday to two Sri Lankans - Upul Tharanga and Kusal Mendis
Upul Tharanga, one of the finest batsman of Sri Lanka, who plays all formats of the game, turns out 36 today!
He was born on 2 February 1985 in Balapitiya, Sri Lanka.
In his early carrier, he has played for Sri Lanka's under-15, under-17 and under-19 squads. Then, unfortunately, he had to suffer from the Tsunami. His family home and trophies were all washed away. But after strong comeback, he got the cap for Sri Lanka in 2005.
He has some serious achievements in his carrier. Especially during 2010, 2011 he performed well. Especially in the 2011 WorldCup. He opened the innings with Jayasuriya and Dilshan. But after that, he couldn't find his rhythm. Still playing domestic games to mark a place in the national squad.

Kusal Mendis, one of the promising batsman of Sri Lanka turns 26 today!
He was born on Feb 02, 1995, in Moratuwa.
These days he is the most trolled cricketer of the country. It's especiallly due to his poor form within last 2 years. He has scored ducks consecutively in the last few matches. So, he was out from the squad. But the selectors are giving him chances. Because he has a fine technique and in his early days, scored a number of match-winning knocks. Still, he is showing his potential but bad luck is on his way. Already he has scored 9 tons in his carrier and a great slip fielder too.
In 2018 he is the second-highest run-scorer in Tests, and in fourth innings of the Test, he has the highest average from current players. So hopes he will be into his form soon.
