Will cricket overtake football?

Cricket is known as the gentlemen game at the beginning and till now too. But now the popularity gain by cricket is awesome. And in this we don't have to shock. Basically cricket is like other sports played outdoor between 2 and in each team there are 11 players lead by a captain which consists 5 batsman 5 bowler 1 wicketkeeper. These all are the basic information about cricket.
Popularity of cricket increased day-to-day and some countries like India, it is like a religion. You will find from children to men playing cricket and talking about it. But I can't refuse to say that football is very far in comparison with cricket. Football is world most favourite sports. And cricket may reach at that peak in future. But both are exciting sprots. I wish both sprots gain more popularity.
