Quest (Recap): The English Arrr Comin’
In a stunning display of audacity, The Queen, clearly embarrass'd by her pitiful attempts to blockade Deadman's Bay, sent the Royal Navy to attack The Salty Tavern.
This act of warrrr was clearly not taken lightly by the various Captains who call the Bay's waters their home (or at least as much of a home as a pirate can get).
Five Royal Frigates of ultimate strength encroached on our Bay, followed by a humongous Man o' War, the likes of which has never been seen.
Before ye could say "AVAST!" a makeshift fleet made up of makeshift fleets swarmed out from Skull Cove to meet the threat.
Cheers to the bravest Cap'ns sailin' The High Seas:
@battleaxe, her Scarlet Reign, and her siren allies caused carnage and gifted gifts to the other Cap'ns.
@underground's Maiden's Distress flanked the invaders with torpedoes.
Cap'n Bone'a'part (@wwwiebe) rammed a frigate with The Luckless, boarded, and scared the entire crew overboard to be eaten by the aforementioned sirens. Talk about a poop deck!
@miryam's fleet, under the cover of night, attacked from the shadows using hit-and-run tactics.
@the.partisan.spy's Iron Storm did her namesake Iron Storm attack, obliterating a frigate.
@drlobes' Royal Fortune split cannon fire assaulting multiple ships.
With the fleet of Royal frigates destroyed, victory can only be short-lived as the Royal Man o' War can be seen over the horizon. The ship be slow, but don't take too long to recuperate, me 'earties! The battle may be over but the war has just begun!
