I hope everyone is well and enjoying their life. From today I start a worpress course in Steem Skillshare Community from basic to advance. In this course I teach you from install worpress to create a complet website.

WordPress is a platform that is used to create a website blog. It is also called a content management system. It was launched on May 27, 2003. Since then it has been the best platform to publish this website.

The best thing about WordPress is that it is an open source software and it is absolutely free and it is the best software and it is the most used for building websites.

We have two softwares to install WordPress on a local host.

1. Bitnami
2. Xampp server
   

   What is Xampp?

Xampp is a local host server that provides us with space to host our website. If we buy online hosting then basically we buy a little space where we have our website and can access our website at any time. Xampp gives us offline space to keep our website. So they are also absolutely free.

What is Bitnami?

Bitnami provides pre-packaged images for automatic setup of popular server software on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux platforms. Each installer includes all the software needed to get out of the box, and is completely self-contained.

What is thedifference between Bitnami and Xampp?

In Xampp we are given the option to make a website a cookie and then place it on an online server. But in Bitnami we were not given the option to take a website offline and then put it on an online server.

Which softwere we use in this course?

We use Xampp server to install worpress on locall host and in this course we talk form installing worpress to create a complet website.

What we learn in next Class?

In next class we learn how to download Xamp and wordpress and how to instal Xampp and how to install worpress in Xampp.
