"Leaves Crafts Contest: Necklace with a hair band by queensleey"

Good afternoon to everyone on this community and I know you guys are doing great today. I welcome you to another awesome contest.

Truly, this contest reminds of my childhood days. When we play on the sand and create things for ourselves with our hands. Days, where the mothers were girls! How I love those wonderful experiences and I'm glad this Contest has made me to remember what I love so much then... beautifying myself with necklace and hair fascinator made with palm fronds. Relax and let me teach you how I used to do it. Funny enough, I still remember the process very well...

Materials

• Palm leaves
• Knife
• A small broom (optional).

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

Step 1
Get as many palm fronds as you want.

Pick the ones you like according to their sizes.

Step 2
After chosen the one you want, remove the broom from the leaves then cut the rough head.

Step 3
Select two leaves and start the work. Begin by knotting them well by rolling the heads together so it won't loosen your Knitt's afterwards...

Step 4
This is the stage you begin your Knitting proper. You do the knitting by placing each palm fronds on top of the other... going back and front...

That's how you continue doing it until you finish the work. As you fold and leave it, it will stretch out on its own.

Step 5
You can decide to tye the end part together or you use a small broom to hold them tightly...

For me, I tied the one for hair and used broom on the one for necklace.
Then my works are ready...
