Introduction

Hello fellow steemians on @steem-skillshare, I wish to appreciate @alena-vladi for this contest where I can share about our unusual job.

I am a content creator on steemit though I didn't join for long, I enjoy blogging because writing has been one of the ways I express myself, but I will be sharing about my unusual job which is tailoring (seamstress).
People think my tailoring work is unusual for a graduate of Educational Administration (B.ed) like me who is supposed to be in an office but I find satisfaction in what I do.

The enthusiasm to sew like my father and elder brother back then when I was a kid triggered my zeal to learn tailoring as a young girl after high school.
Though I saw myself paddling at a very young age where I can patch some clothes and fix zipper on my own without learning from anyone, my zeal increased to learn more and even better.
But due to some unavoidable circumstances, I couldn't enroll but I never give up.

After my university days while I await my call-up letter for a mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in my dear country Nigeria, I decided that it was the right time to pursue my dream of learning fashion design and I took the opportunity but didn't finish before my letter came.
So after the one year service and couldn't secure a job after graduation, I went back to conclude my apprenticeship as a tailoring (seamstress) and I am doing great because I find peace and joy in sewing.
Below is one of the dresses I made for myself with some pictorial from scratch to end.

There are several dresses I was able to sew for customers and myself which gives me joy and satisfaction seeing my dream come true and also earning

Conclusion
