Good evening sir @lhorgic, I am glad to be able to attend your lectures and I learned something great today about illustration and how it relates to the graphic world. I felt really bad I wasn’t able to do and submit the first homework of this season by sir @atim1234. I promise to put more effort into attending classes and doing homework tasks. What is an illustration in simple words?
An illustration in a very simple and straight sentence is a picture that tries to get the attention of me or you look at it, to pay more attention to the subject rather than the art. An Illustration can either be in the form of a drawing, painting, photograph, or even a work of art… Let me just say it is a story practically based on drawings.

I have learned about what an illustration means and making progress we moved to the types of illustration as given by sir @lhorgic and we were asked to give other types of illustrations. I will be listing them below.

1 Animation Illustration: Illustrators make use of their God-giving talent to convey emotions as well as ideas in an exciting way.

2 Comics illustration: in comics illustrations ideas are been expressed in images followed by text and also other visual info.

3 Fantasy Illustration: this very type of illustration showcase magical and supernatural themes and creatures.

So having listed and explained some types of illustrations I will be differentiating between a “graphic design and an “illustration.

Graphic design is you focusing on getting communication with your audience while illustration talks more about creative interpretation. And it is more in relation to fine arts.

Now answering the last homework question “WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF ILLUSTRATION.
Well, I will say an illustration can help a dull child learn how to read with understanding without the help of a grown-up. With illustration, reading becomes fun for a child or an adult.
