NASA is already sending robots. Different shapes and sizes in space. As technology advances, it makes sense. Robots don't have to worry about oxygen or food to breathe and can be filled with sensors to send data to Earth.The same is true of the workplace. Robots can perform more difficult, dangerous and dim tasks to save humanity from trouble and danger. They can theoretically work faster, more efficiently and with fewer mistakes.

They've been on our roads for a while and they're just getting better.Car batteries are running longer, charging station infrastructure is growing and a lot of investment is being made in self-driving technology, which means it's coming sooner than you think.Tesla already has a complex autopilot mode that can handle some driving controls, but one-day car manufacturers hope to let us go completely hands-free.

When there is no space left on the streets, it is not unreasonable to think that we might ascend to heaven. There are already plenty. Exciting flight design that shows that this future is a realistic possibility.Maybe if it weren't for flying cars, we would all have other forms of personal transportation. Jet packs, for example, have been a popular acquisition for inventors and thrill seekers for decades.

Another route is planned from New York to Washington DC, currently 29 minutes instead of 2 hours 56 minutes.High-speed underground and underwater trains can revolutionize not only public transport but also international travel. Imagine being able to accelerate from one country to another at the same time as it currently takes time to travel between cities.

Enhanced Reality, or AR, has some incredible potential. It has been around for some time, in the form of various apps that can cover the information around you and is different from VR because it overlays the information instead of putting you in virtual reality.

It may have been popularized by the Minority Report, but the concept of gesture-based computing has been around for a while. It is already appearing in many different technologies and is almost second nature anyway.How many gestures do we already use on a daily basis on our smartphones, tablets and other smart devices? It is reasonable to look to the future where we are not limited to mouse and keyboard and instead rely on sound and action to manipulate data in virtual space.
