Graphic Design Class 7 | Logo & Typography Combination By @masrull
Hi all, meet me again @masrull as one of the students in graphic design class on this occasion I will try to complete the task that has been given by teacher @lhorgic.
1. Give a detailed explanation on your understanding about Logo ?
Basically, logos only start with writing that was used by ancient people, but over time, people began to add images and various kinds of sketches to make it look more creative and more elegant.
Logo is a combination of images, writings and sketches which means the identity of a brand, institution, company, region, organization and country. Each logo must of course be different from the others both in terms of shape and color to better show the characteristics of the logo itself.
Every logo that is used must have a purpose to tell people that this is the logo of this brand or another so that they can always remember who owns the logo without having to explain at length to people.

- Letter Mark
- Pictorial Mark
- Abstract Logo
- Combination Logo
2. Pick a very common logo and get the meaning behind all of it components (colour, symbols ,type etc)
One of the most famous brand logos is ADIDAS.

There are several meanings in this adidas logo I will try to explain briefly and clearly.
ADIDAS
The name adidas is taken from the combination of the names of two brothers from Germany, namely Adi Dassler and his brother Rudolf Dassler.
Three Lines
The Three Lines symbolizes the hard work of the athletes in achieving excellence in a match that is relentless and will continue to fight for every match to come.
Color
The black color on the adidas logo represents an inspiration to young people to get involved in sports and athletics. black color also aims to be able to revive their spirit.
3. Design a simple flier showing your understanding about Type combination.
Here I try to design some brochures with the understanding that I have understood so far about the combination of types.

My Observation
You did well dear student,in question 1 you didn't take your time to go deeper in your understanding about the topic,I love the way you explained the message behind you logo in Question 2. Your design is cool,but the types in the first flier are not really distinct,they look more like they are in the same family. A nice type combination will make it really cool. Weldone dear student.
