Hello dear friends of @steem.skillshare, it is a pleasure for me, to participate in this food photography contest, and also to thank @life.pics for being the sponsor of this excellent contest and yes taking food pictures is one of my hobbies.

My entry is related to seafood products, the popular "Calamares Rebosados".

Below I will explain how I took the photo and why I decided to photograph that particular meal.

The picture was taken with my Redmi Note 8 cell phone. My daughter invited me to lunch and asked me: What would I like to have for lunch? and I answered without hesitation Calamares Rebosados. I am Venezuelan and I live in a coastal area where seafood products are abundant. My meals are generally fish and seafood, I rarely eat meat. The area is Caribbean and there are many restaurants that sell this type of food and they are a delight. I decided to eat calamari with fried arepa, french fries, lettuce and onion salad and an exquisite piece of avocado, it really is my favorite food. This type of food identifies me and is part of the gastronomy of this region of my country Venezuela. And these are the reasons why I wanted to take the picture and share it with this community to participate in this interesting contest.
