Hi all steemian friends wherever you are
How are you all dear friends?
May you always be healthy and live long and happy.
And I'm fine here too.

Thank you very much to @abu78 for organizing this poetry contest. I am a poetry lover especially if they can be demonstrated on stage. I am very happy because I can see various types of poetry from all of my friends through this contest, there are so many interests and talents that we can see, moreover we can draw conclusions from each verse written. Writing poetry is not as easy as writing an ordinary line book where every word contains a factual meaning, but it is different from poetry, where every word contains an implied meaning and is a beautiful art.

Alright, this is my first participation in a poetry contest, to be honest at first I wasn't confused about how to write it, because I'm from Indonesia, I studied poetry in my mother tongue, I understand a little English, but in poetry it will have a different meaning every time words are trying to translate, and I don't want the poetry I write to confuse other people. And I try to participate in this contest, hopefully my poetry can be enjoyed by all poetry lovers in particular, and generally for all Steemit people. Enjoy.

Jauh....
Jauh disana,
Dimana nestapa dalam hati ini berada
Tak terhitung dan tak bersuara
Aku hanya bisa bergumam,
Sedangkan engkau meneriakkan suaramu yang lantang itu

Hei!
Apa engkau sedang marah atau meratap kesedihan?
Jauh disana...,
Dekat jalan yang tidak pernah berujung
Tidak!
Engkau tidak akan mengerti kemana tujuan hendak pergi
Lihatlah!
Lihat daun yang gugur dimusim semi,
Tidak akan dapat terhitung dengan jarimu

Engkau berjalan dan terus berjalan entah dimana
Hingga aku menemukan satu titik diujung Timur
Begitu silau dan tampak begitu dekat
Sehingga siapapun yang mendekat akan tau artinya
Jauh,..
semakin jauh, dan jauh...

Kakiku yang kaku sedangkan engkau berlari
Tanpa engkau menoleh ke arahku
Ku coba untuk berkata, namun hatiku masih bergumam
Hingga mulutku terbuka,
Tetapi engkau sudah berubah menjadi Kilauan yang tidak dapat aku gapai

Kepada siapa aku mengadu?
Rumput dan jalan berbatu menjadi saksi ku
Dapatkah mereka membantuku?
Sehingga jalan itu kembali padaku
Aku sudah menyerah
Namun aku tidak berputus asa
Oh.....
Sang bulan engkau adalah harapan dihati ku
Saat aku harus terdiam di ranting syahdu
Biarkan aku menunggu
Hingga hatiku kembali baru

The meaning of my poem above is;

The poem above tells how a woman really misses a man who is close to her heart. But the woman cannot blame the person she misses because her feelings have never been conveyed to the man. They are very close, and make their relationship become friends and even friends, but over time the woman likes the man with hope. Until one day, the man had to go to study abroad, they were separated, but for this woman it was too late, she just waited and waited with love and hope in her heart even though she never knew what her fate would be with the man. Only love and hope are what make the woman strong and survive.

Well, all of my friends, I hope you like my poem above, if you have experienced it, this poem can represent your feelings. Love and longing are indeed very powerful when a hurricane tries to separate. Let's join this contest @sailawana @fwinanda @nadiaturrina .
