Introduction

The above topic is something that we all face and it's part of our daily life.

In my previous job, where I worked as a typist in a cyber cafe, I had to take over a work from my colleague who was admitted to the hospital. In my first meeting with the customer that owns the work, he walked into the shop and asked for his work and I told him it was me the work was given to to complete he requested for it but I told him that I wasn't through with it. Then, he began yelling, he was angry about the unfinished work because my colleague promised him to come on that very day that the work would have been ready by then. Me on the other hand did not have any idea about their agreement. He was saying so many things that made me became angry too but I didn't interrupt him, cos there is a saying that "customers are always right" in that anger I made sure I note the issues he raised concerning the work.
When he finished I pleaded with him about the issue and promise to address all complaint and the he began to calm down.
I made sure to frequently update the customer on my progress so that another wahala will not come again.

My advise to you my fellow steemians on how to handle such situations

  • Show your thought process and your abilities in problem-solving.
  • Show ur leadership, communication and technical skills.
  • Provide enough enough details but be concise.
  • Make sure that the story has a positive outcome.

Things you should avoid are

  • Avoid problems that u created your self.
  • Don't focus on the negative aspects.
  • Don't blame or speak I'll of other people.
  • Avoid drama.

In conclusion
We should all try our best in our places of work to handle difficult situation (Angry customers) in an effective way. Instead of arguing back, you should give listening ears to ur customers and make sure you communicate frequently with them, and it also shows ur problem-solving abilities and efficiency.
