Hello everyone, it is a pleasure for me to publish my first post in this community, and what better way to do it than applying for a course to learn. When I saw the option of studying English, I was quickly interested, and taking into account that today is the last day to apply, I didn't want to miss the opportunity, so, here I go.

My application as a student

1. Mention where you are from and what your native language is.

My name is Carlos, I am Venezuelan, born in the city of Caracas, although I currently reside in Barquisimeto, another state in Venezuela. My native language is Spanish, acquired from my parents.

2. Why do you want to improve your English?

Good question, I am interested in improving my English to have a better opportunity in many areas, it is a language that opens doors and opportunities. For example, I am gathering steem power to later study at the crypto academy, but I have noticed that the classes there are in English, so improving my knowledge of this language is extremely necessary. I also want to help my children to learn English, they are young, and that will give them great opportunities in the future.

3. What's your goal in your English language journey?

My goal in this journey is to master the language to a great extent, so that I can use it when necessary. The general and central idea is to take advantage of every lesson, and to use the translator as little as possible.

4. What is your current level of English, according to you?

For a long time I thought my level was intermediate (b), because since I was a child I was exposed to many things in English, such as video games to give an example, high school subjects, etc., but after I took an exam to study English as a university career and I failed it, I concluded that my level is basic.

5. Which English skill is the most difficult for you?

The question tag I would say, as well as the listening and pronunciation. At least, I can understand what an English text says to a certain extent, but if I have to write one, I find it difficult, or if you read me the same text, I understand very few words of it. Even so, I think I don't know much of the language, possibly there are more things that are difficult for me. But I am willing to learn and that is the important thing.
