INTRODUTION. Good evening my fellow stemitans today has been wonderful, especially the contest itself I am @ikechuk and i want to use this oppunituy to thank friends who have put it in their calender to provide contest day-in and day-out for others to participate and also i want to thank steemit for this platform, this platform have help alot by bringing friends together and apart from tthe finacial aspect it teaches us academically. ![IMG_5152.JPG]()

ABOUT THE BOOK AND AUTHOR.
Reading is known for entertaining ones mind, we have more than a billion books publish each day,some people read to for fun and pleasure like comics, fashion magazine and others read for educational purposes, we all have books obook we love reading a the time or when we are bore many of such books include the bible etc.
For me i have read countless numbers of books the include comics, bible, novels etc. From all one have come to be important ir paramount to others the books name is the African prince, the book was written by monsieur Nse R. isong he is a french teacher he is a holder of NCE(English) and DELIFBI(french).
The setting of the book falls during the pre-colonial rule in africa, the Protagonist is abyoung Afrian prince captured in Niger Deltaregionand sod into slavery.He arrives the shores of the united state of America andstartedworkingon the plantation there.
His slave master, mr Smith sees exceptional qunlitescin him and decides to keep him permanently in his plantations and mines. But buried in the Africaprince heart is the dream of his freedom and subsequent crowning as king he was born to be.
He wake up one day to see the dawn of freedom as president Abraham lincoln proclaim Emancipation for all Black slaves.
The Blacks gathered around and crown him king. He uses his new position to mobilize all the blacks towards total freedom from racisim and low self esteem.years later,we see Martin luther King junior continuing in the foot steps of his fore father's campaign for racial equality. The campagin pays off handsomely as Obama, a Black man occupies the White House for the very first time.

IMPORTANT PHASE.
Chapter eleven this was a qote from matin luther king campaigned for social equality, libeety and fraternity for blacks in the USA.
He criedout one day saying;
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out of the true meaing of it creed: "we hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal".

He futher said that he has a dream that one day in the red hill of Georgia, the sonof the former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

NUMBER OF TIMES I READ THE BOOK.
I have read "THE AFRICAN PRINCE" more than 20 times And i love reading it whenever I am less busy at home or feeling sleepy. The book is made up of 49 pages and a nice ending the book has many theme for example:bravry,courage, Obedience etc
The book has being with me for 6Years borrowed the book from my brother and since then it has being with me.
