This is really a nice contest and I’m here to also participate in this beautiful contest presented my @abu78 and @steem.skillshare

I’m a Ghanaian and I was born and raised in ghana 🇬🇭. Ghana is a beautiful country, through I know there are a lot of countries in the world but Ghana is really a nice country and also Ghana is the most peaceful country in the world.
Due to the peacefulness of my country ( Ghana), had the chance to host the 2008 African cup of nations.

Ghana is my country, Ghana is the most peaceful country in west Africa and also in terms of sports, Ghana is part of the countries that love sports ( football ).
When you look at the history that Ghana is having on sports or when it comes to football, it is a nice history.
Ghana had this history because of the kind of peace Ghana is. Let’s look at the 2008 African cup.

Ghana was the country that host African cup of nation and everything went well successfully, there was enough stadiums and there was enough training ground for the various countries who were lucky to be part of this competition.

Before a country can host for a competition, they will look at the kind of peace the country is having before they will now grant the country the opportunity to host for the competition.

Is not only the peace but Ghana has a lot of tourist site my friends on steemit can visit and you will really enjoyed you visited those places.

Example tourist site in Ghana are as follows;

  • Accra
  • Kakum National Park
  • Mole National Park
  • Kumasi
  • Busua Beach
  • St. George’s Castle
  • Nzulezu Ghana
  • Lake Volta
  • Kokrobite Beach
  • Paga Crocodile Pond
  • Labadi Beach
  • Lake Bosumtwe

There are lot of tourist places in Ghana and this will give more joy and happiness to the visitors that will visit Ghana.

I will like to talk about some of the tourists side.
I will like to talk about Paga Crocodile 🐊 pond.

This is we’re visitor got to see crocodile real, meaning face to face and they are not harmful. Some of us see the crocodiles on Tv and some see them on phones etc. but when you found yourself in ghana and you visit the paga crocodile pond, you will get to see them face to face.

Visitors on their way to Nzulezu

People who stays there are happy and they also enjoys like the way we those who are not living there . And sometimes they even feel like that enjoy life more then us. Is really a nice place and all these are the reasons why I think Ghana is nice place my fellow steemiams you visit.

Ghana is just a nice country I think my fellow steemiams should visit.

Ghana is a country we’re they treat visitors like they are citizens of the country.

Let’s also look at the cost of living in ghana.
The cost of living is very low and visitors don’t need too much money before they can live in Ghana.
Ghana, we grow what we eat so cost of living is very low.
Ghana is a nice country and also festivals that are celebrated my people in Ghana are all Nice and also , all the Ethnic groups in Ghana Are all nice.

Let me come down to we’re I say in Ghana. I stay in the northern part of Ghana 🇬🇭. And the name of my town is Yendi and in my local Die-let, the name is ( Sankara Yeli )
This also were one can visit and you will never regret it.
People who lives on yendi are lovely and nice people and they also love visitors.
The people who lives in yendi are called Dagombas and I will like to talk about the interesting and lovely festivals celebrated my them.
There are a lot of cultural festivals celebrated my the people of yendi but This are some of the cultural festival people of yendi celebrate.

This when our formal president visit yendi to celebrate the Damber festival. It was really nice and interesting.

There festival are well celebrated by the people of yendi. As you can see from the pictures, they are so lovely and Nice to celebrate. They are lot of festivals celebrated by the people of yendi.

A lot of visitors who found them here in yendi confessed that, yendi is the most peaceful and loving place to be and also cost of living in yendi is less costly and Ghana at large.

People of Yendi are farmers who grows a grains particularly corn, guinea corn and millet. They additionally grows tubers like sweet potato. Yendi is a business center as it is trapped in many towns/towns in the northern region. The people of yendi, majority of them travel out to Tamale and also, the Eastern corridor road pass through Yendi and makes yendi the significant transport center.

Ghana is a everyone of on steemit should visit and when you found yourself in ghana, should also come down to the northern part of Ghana and visit yendi.
Yendi is a kind of place I think everyone should pay a visit and also, we are a lot of tourist attractions there too. And these are some of the tourist sites in yendi

  • The Greenwich meridian passes through yendi
  • The grave of the late Babatu (warlord)
  • Naa Dataa Tuwa
    I will like to highlight on some of the tourists sites mentioned above;

The grave of the late Babatu.

He was a great man who happens to have slaves. Those days he was a slaves deal meaning he was having slaves who was working him and also he sell some of the slaves to the white men.
So when he die, they buried him in yendi. So when you come to yendi, you can visit the grave of the late Babatu.

And up to date, the The weapons and the chains he was using to chained the slaves, they are still there and you can see them when visit there.

Naa Dataa Tuwa

I will like to talk about the Naa Dataa Tuwa. This is really a great history and sometimes people cry when hear this story.
Those days. In the 80’s there was one chief who happens to rule yendi and as at that time,
He was having so many wife’s and they were beautiful as well. And it happens that, some of his people were dating some of his wife’s.
So when he found out that some of his people were dating his wife’s, he pass a law saying if he caught someone dating his wife, he will cut off that person head.
And this was how they were doing it. They was this stone, the victim will side and lay his head on the stone and they will cut it off.
So after they finished cutting the victims head, they will put the head inside the Tuwa and the body will be kept in some well.

And what happened and they stop it was that, someone lie to the chief that one his people is dating his wife. So the chief as his bodyguards to go and bring this man so that they will cut off his head.
So the when and bring him and when they cut off his head, instead of blood should come out, but there wasn’t blood but rather milk that was coming out.
And everybody was shock and his brings that thing to the end.

They are a lot of tourist places in ghana and not only that but Ghana is just a beautiful place to be.
And I’m here inviting all people on steemit to visit my hometown Ghana 🇬🇭 so that you can have a story one day to tell your grandkids and not only that and also to tell friends and love one how Ghana is.

In conclusion, I will like to use this opportunity to thank @steem.skillshare for this wonderful and lovely contest and also @abu78
