It's another favorite moment here again with you all and it's gladen my heart to know that you are doing awesomely well! I will say thank you @olabillions for yet another interesting contest that you have organized in this awesome and interesting steem skillshare community on 'what's your favorite traditional dish in your country'? Please never get it twisted but follow up as I will be showcasing my traditional dish in my country.
INTRODUCTION
Am Emmybless my name, a Nigerian, from Akwaibom State under Ibibio tribe. Here in Akwaibom, we have a lot of traditional dishes like; Ekpang nkukwo, Ekpang iwa, asa iwa, asa abakpa, efere edikaikong, afia efere(white soup), efere afang, efere editan, fofo and a lot more. But I want to be specific by writing about afang soup and fofo which is my favorite.
EFERE AFANG OR AFANG SOUP
Afang soup is a vegetable soup that has it's origin from Efik people of Efik kingdom of cross river state and my previous Ibibio people of Akwa Abasi ibom state in the Southern Nigeria.
ITEMS NEEDED FOR THE SOUP
HOW ITS BEEN PREPARED
- STEP1:wash the afang leave slice and pound it.

- STEP 2 Wash the water leave and sliced it.
- STEP 3 Wash the periwinkle and cut
- STEP 4 Wash the meat, stockfish, periwinkle,fish and season it.
- STEP 5: once the entire ingredients has been well steamed pour the water leave, red oil and allow it to steam again and then put the crayfish.
Mix the afang into and it's ready
- STEP 6: Make fufu by mixing the raw fufu and boil and prepare to use with the afang soup.
Lastly I eat my favorite traditional dish.
