WORKSHOP IDEA FOR CONTEST: By @ebuahsang1

Good morning steemians and specials greetings to the members of steem skillshare. This is my participation for the Digital contest organized by @milakz. I love this contest and will like to share my idea for an online workshop I will wish to host.

STEEMIT EDUCATION TO NEWBIES. (MINDSET DEVELOPMENT)

Ever since I rejoined steemit on the 5 th of May 2021, I have been so passionate about steemit and keen to learning and understanding more. As a newbie, I sincerely know the frustration other newbies are going through because I am still going through same myself and I am passionate in sharing.
The idea of this workshop stems from a post I made yesterday reporting on my journey of recruiting members to steemit. Haven recruited over 20 steemians, I realized the stress a lot of people are going through, from understanding the platform, just about 6 persons have done an introduction post. Below is a screenshot of me chatting with Stephany with the username @mboyi who is telling me that it is very confusing.

The workshop will provide space for 20 newbies and no payment will be needed. The only requirement will be a promised from all attendees not to involve in POWER DOWN for the rest of the year.

I plan to organize a digital workshop on the 14/06/2021- 17/06/2021 at exactly 7:00pm Central African Time and for a 2hours each day

Since the workshop seek to educate newbies, experience is not required, the only requirement for eligibility to attend will be the Achievement 1 Task. For those who are yet to do it, we will require them to submit a draft copy for review.

The workshop shall be done through Zoom meeting and an invitation link will be sent to all of the 20 participant 1hour before the meeting and training shall be done in the English language. GOALS OF THE WORKSHOP.

OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP
The first goal will be to teach newbies on how to navigate the steemit interface, the various communities to subscribe and the importance of communities.

The workshop will also aim at educating newbies on crypto currency, STEEM, SBD and STEEM POWER. This comes in hand to help newbies who are not eligible to be part on the crypto academy to have basic knowledge before becoming eligible.
Also, we will seek to educate on what kind of post to prepare for the steemit platform and the importance of the various achievement task.

Last but not the least, the workshop will seek to build a successful mindset in the newbies. That’s, the importance of persistence and consistency, the importance of hard work and why it is important to take steemit seriously. The right mindset is very important for newbies if we want to build a new generation of steemians for are investment lovers.
For us to build a powerful steemit, workshops like this are very important to instill the right mindset into every person, a mindset of progress, a mindset of resilient and more.

EXPECTATIONS OF THE WORKSHOP

It Is expected that after the workshop, more newbie should know how to do the various achievements, so we will expect a rise in the number of achievements.

Also we expect to see an increase in the interaction of newbies in the various communities they see fit.

And lastly but not the least, we expect to realize and increase in the value of STEEM, STEEM DOLLAR in the market and an increase in the STEEM POWER UP.
