CLASS 6 GRAPHIC DESIGN APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT ON BANNER CREATION by @christianyocte
Greetings of Peace and Goodwill!
I am writing this blog to present my answers in the Graphic Design Class 6 of @niglys8. However, the application I used here is not PEXEL LAB because I am using an Apple Phone and it cannot be installed from the Apps Store. I also tried to do the suggestion by our teacher, but it still didn't work.
So, I just decided to use an alternative, which is Canva. I am very lucky because as a teacher in the Philippines, we have a free premium account in Canva. This application is really great for teachers because we can utilize this to create learning materials for our students.
ASSIGNMENT
1. What site is used to remove background from images?
This graphic design class introduced to use remove.bg. However, I remove the background of my images straight from Canva.

2. State two ways in which the banner size can be set and with picture illustrations too.
In Pixel Lab, you can set the banner size in two ways by:
1. Click the three dots ➡️ select image size ➡️ set the size.
2. Click the background icon ➡️ click image size ➡️ set the size.
In Canva, I can set the banner size by:
1. Click "Create Design" ➡️ click “Custom Size” ➡️ Set size.
2. Click “Custom Size” ➡️ Set size.
3. Create a simple “Thank You” banner design appreciating our able graphic design headmaster @atim1234 for organizing this amazing graphic design class in the steel skills are community. For question 3, you will be given 5 marks if you accurately apply the following: 4. Use of good fonts, 5. Use of compelling or attractive colours, 6. Use of quality picture that portrays “Thank You” message.

Conclusion
As an aspiring Graphic Designer, you have to be resourceful. So, I believe that I can just use available applications to be able to do the task. Also, in the real world of designing, the client would not mind what graphic design tools you use, they are only after of the results or the product or your services. Keep designing!
