What Does #club5050 Mean To Me?
Very legit and calm question but from my point of view, the idea is cool and intriguing because once we key into it, then the future of steemit can be guaranteed and the newbies can also enjoy their stay here. Unlike before that once payment drops, we dispatch the whole amount but with the intervention of #club5050, we will be mindful of how we spend our day's income except you don't want to belong to the winning party.
#club5050 is for the future because if every individual account can hold water, that means we don't need to tarry or hope on the bigger account to visit us but with little we have, we can smile all day and they come, is a bonus to us.
The #club5050 is to ginger people to save more and cash out less because, in the long run, we save for the future, we invest in the platform and bigger things await us, the future of our children is secured because is a place that needs more able bodies.
The idea of #club5050 is to motivate people to save and lately with the help of the initiative, some community account can upvote an individual and at the end of the day, such an individual goes home smiling.

what if u are by default 100% powerup? - also, seems i been doing steemit wrong for over 4 years... here i was thinking it was proof of existence .... but if i just do the 'academy' thing, i make $80 a post? - seems a bit spammy tbh :P

You don't get the gist, the #club5050 is not yet fixed but on a trial and to participate in the payout roll, you must power up 50% of your earnings or more than to join the elite.
