Introduction

Have seen most users complaining that they don't get rewarded whenever they create contents. This is because the steem is not in circulation due to users on steemit are not powering up their steem which is not good for Steemit community. This why this newly launched program called Club5050 is very important for all Steemians to participate in.

what do you know about Club5050

To my own understanding Club5050 is a continuous program initiated by the Steemit Team to encourage it's users to cash out less and power up at least 50% of their earnings. By doing it makes users on steemit independent on their own and releasing the stress from steemcurator1, steemcurator2 and booming. It will also help increase their influence on steemit and also build the strength of the Steem economy.

How it works

Club5050 works 7 days after your post pays out, where you are having some liquid token in your wallet then you power up half of it or more. For example I have 10 SBD after my post payout, I will power up 5 SBD or more the rest are mine. If not so we cannot use the #club5050 in our daily post.

What to Gain when you Club5050

you will be getting extra Rewards from steemcurator1, steemcurator2 and booming.
It also help to build your reputation and influence on steemit.

You Will Not Be Qualified For #club5050 votes if.

If uou have not made any recent power-ups.
You recently stopped powering down, or you are powering down.
You normally buy vote, or delegating to any investment services’ or bid-bots.
You are not voting regularly with your Steem Power.

Note

You don’t have to make a special post concerning power-ups. What you need to do is to add the #club5050 tag as one of the first five tags on your posts.
Your wallet will be monitored to check if you are abiding by the rules of Club5050.
If you help others to buy and sell STEEM/SBD so as to exchange token for them, by doing so it will make it difficult for you to get #club5050.

This is a very welcomed development. With this initiatives users on steemit will be able to build their reputation and be independent on their own. I will be participating in this program from now henceforth.

Conclusion

This program encourages users on steemit to grow and invest in the platform and become very active. Users are expected to lock up their earnings by powering up half of their tokens than steadily cashing out all of them. In this way all users on steemit will benefit from each other.
