Greetings everyone, am so grateful to @lhorgic for these wonderful class. Welcome to my blog. Am here again to complete my assignment on Illustration. Below is my assignment.
Illustration can be seen as an image used in conveying visual ideas, to advertise product, teach and also promote a brand into limelight. Illustrations can also be seen as providing a decoration that portray and interpret text with visuals. It is done using hand drawing (manually) and digitally. Mostly Drawings are one of the used styles for illustration. In graphic design, illustrations are visual way to interpret texts, it requires to give more attention on aspect like expression on character's faces to capture deep emotions and connections.
There are many types of Illustration design, but I will be listing out just few here.

- Technical Illustration
Technical illustration is about the clarity of the image and the accurate description of an image or object in order to make the understanding more simple and easy.

- Concept Illustration
This type of Illustration is mostly used in movies, games, and other industries, also as a material for working used in finding the best image of the atmosphere of a work. Creating a perfect image is not that important but to select a a right image. Most times Concept illustration are made for environments, characters, costumes, and items.

- Watercolor Illustration
Watercolor can seen as drawing that holds particles of pigments together in the paint tube and on the palette. Watercolor also looks like liquid and also flows like water. It is a method of painting where by, the paints which are made from pigments dissolve ina water-based solution.

- Pencil Illustration
This a type of of Illustration that uses techniques like cross hatching, line art, shading and so on, to express or illustrate ideas and also It uses graphite color or lead.
Both of them are of the same field of work but the way it is applied or implicate are quite different. I will giving a few difference between Graphic Design and Illustration below.

- It helps to communicate things 5hat are not realistic. May be you have somethings in mind you would like to express an idea or something odd, with illustrations, it is possible to carry out what's in your mind. For better expression of what's on your mind u need illustration.
- Illustration helps in Promoting your brands. In a situation where you have a business to promote, Illustration design comes in to help reach out to customers that it needs to reach.
- It helps to pass information or tell what your story is all about to viewers reading your story.
