Wesak lantern made with A4 boards | #club75
Hey My Dear Steemians 😍,
I wish you all a very lucky day with all my heart. I made a Vesak lantern for the upcoming Vesak festival. In this article I hope to share with you how I made it. I invite you all to watch it and I will start writing the article now.
The raw material I needed to make the Vesak lantern
🎐 Red A4 board
🎐 White A4 board
🎐 Scissors
🎐 Pencil
🎐 A bottle of gum
I will now show you step by step how I made a beautiful Vesak lantern using the above mentioned ingredients.
First I took 5 red A4 boards and cut two 10cm × 10cm squares from each board. I cut totally 10 squares and set it aside and took a white A4 board.
I cut 4 strips 1cm × 30cm pieces out of white A4 board. Then the strips were pasted along the edges of the red boards.
Each of the 10cm × 10cm squares was cut and glued to the edges. Finished work on the side where the edges are glued. Then glue one square at a time on the other side of the square with 2cm × 2cm white cardboard.
Then I glued the 10 squares separately so that the squares were visible at the corners. You can see the pasted shapes in the picture I uploaded.
Then I took a 30cm × 18cm A4 board and glued the two corners. The sides were left open and the above shapes were glued around the cylindrical board as shown below.
Gum was glued so that all 10 shapes were close together. Now the work on the Vesak lantern is almost complete. Now it is time to fold the Vesak lantern.
When the Vesak lantern was folded, I decorated it with A4 boards. I decorated it so that the red and white straps alternately dropped the circular section down the side.
Now my Vesak lantern is fully decorated. Now all you have to do is hang it in the right place. Usually when making a Vesak lantern the frame of the lantern is made using bamboo tubes. But I made this beautiful Vesak lantern in a different shape in less time and with less raw materials.
I conclude this article with the hope that you will soon come to write another wonderful article.
Congratulations..!!!
