So today's topic is Ultrasound. We all have heard the name of ultrasound in laboratories and hospitals. It's a physics phenomenon related to sound. I have gave a few lessons about sound as well in my previous posts. Now in this topic we will see that what are the ultrasounds.

First of all we need to have a look on the definition of ultrasound.

"The sounds whose frequencies are greater than 20 thousands Hz and humans are not able to hear that are called ultrasounds. They also known as ultrasonic waves"

I hope you have now the idea of ultrasound that what they are in actual. Now we need to have a look on a couple of uses of ultrasound in our life. Ultrasounds are very important in the medical and surgical field.

Uses of Ultrasound

• Ultrasounds can be used to detect the tiny particles or very small things. Because they have the more energy due to greater frequency than the normal sounds.

• With the help of transmitter ultrasound waves enter the human bodies and perform many actions that the doctors cannot do.

• The blood that has been frozen in the human bodies can be melted with the power of ultrasound. That's why they are much more needed in the medical field.

• The tissues and organs of human bodies that has been damaged can be cured by the help of ultrasounds.

• Ultrasound waves are also used for the detection of things in the deep ocean that human cannot detect.
