For delegators that cannot be covered by the full upvote from @upex, they are shipped liquid steem each day to make up the difference of the 20x upvote value... the returns are better on upex than upvu if you really look into the numbers.

They haven't stated what they will do with TRX yet, though since TRX hasn't really been being paid out for the last 3 months or more on the entire steemit platform, I wouldn't really be counting on it coming from any upvoting service.

I am not following what you are comparing in your example above?

The basic premise is simple, upex returns 20x vote value, you can check the math, while upvu offers roughly 17.7x upvote value... (though I am not including TRX since no no one has been receiving TRX for months anyways). These values are comprised of the upvote itself and the liquid steem they ship combined. Upex ships 20x total while upvu ships roughly 17.7x total...
