It's a clash of civilization. I followed everything from the start and I can tell you that the hatred against Sun/Tron is fueled by political and ideological ideas. We were in the same situation when Ned was the Boss, but for some reason, nothing happened, maybe because he was American, who knows? but what I know for sure is that a lot of witnesses did like the status quo back then.

There are still solutions that can make things work, but when racism and ideological centrism are involved, things cannot be that simple.
