Steem Crypto Challenge : Bitcoin is Booming - What About Your Favorite Coin ? - My Entry - Ethereum

Hello fellow Steemit users. As we all know that towards the end of this year, the cryptocurrency market has shown some surprising growth. Especially bitcoin, has made the investors go crazy with it's recent increment. Bitcoin is now nearing it's all time high. Hence, the phrase, "Bitcoin is Booming" holds true for the situation as of now.

Bitcoin is definitely a must for investing. But as of now i have a different favorite cryptocurrency. I would like to go as per the questions of this contest to tell everyone of my favorite cryptocurrency.

• WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CRYPTOCURRENCY THAT YOU HOLD OR INVEST IN?

My favorite cryptocurrency that i hold as of now is Ethereum. Ethereum was launched in the year 2015 with the aim of expanding the use of blockchain and cryptocurrency, to cover all those platforms where bitcoin couldn't reach. Ethereum was also called a "global computer' because it allowed several developers to use it create smart contracts in order to make new apps and games. One of the big projects to be found around Ethereum is Microsoft’s partnership with ConsenSys. It can be used to codify. trade, secure, decentralize about anything. All of this provides Ethereum a wide user base.

• WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT CRYPTOCURENCY?

Personally, i was amazed by the wide range of usage, Ethereum had on a variety of platforms. I enjoy playing a lot of crypto games. I earned Ethereum from a game called Axie Infinity. I was amazed to find that it was also in usage in a variety of other games. There were many games which i played once, i earned the Ethereum from the previous game. Ethereum was also pretty easy to convert and buy other tokens on Uniswap. So this cryptocurrency made a lot of things easier for me. Also, it was pretty easy to convert into INR and transfer it to my bank account whenever i was i need of money.

• HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THAT CRYPTO?

I have been holding Ethereum for about five months now. As i mentioned before, i earned this Ethereum by playing the blockchain games. I am amazed by the increase in its price i have seen, since i am holding it. When i held Ethereum it was moving around 300$, but as of now it even crossed the 600$ mark, though for a short period of time. I am very happy to invest in Ethereum as my very first cryptocurrency when i went into the field of crypto.

*WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ITS CURRENT PERFORMANCE?

I am flabbergasted by the current performance of Ethereum. It recently crossed the 600$ mark. At the present moment it is in the 500$ range. This is like the golden period of Ethereum. It has been rising a lot recently. Although as people have started selling Bitcoin due to its high price and the want to earn more, it has also affected the graph of Ethereum as some people have also sold Ethereum for the same reasons. Hence, it fell from 600 to 500 dollars. Nevertheless. the graph has shown very promising results.

• WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ITS FUTURE PROSPECTS?

I think Ethereum has a very bright future ahead. A lot of collaborations are being made with Ethereum. Many apps and games are being launched with Ethereum as its base. Also with the recent launch of Ethereum 2.0 which will be there in December, Ethereum is said to break all of its records. Many people are buying and holding it for the 2.0 update. This event has given Ethereum the push it needed and henceforth it has been on the rise. Many statements are being made for the future price of Ethereum. Some say it will even cross Bitcoin. Whatever the result maybe, it will definitely be fun for its investors.

• DO YOU PLAN TO HOLD, BUY MORE OR SELL?

As of now, i plan to buy more and hold Ethereum. The launch of Ethereum 2.0 and the various other collaborations are sure to do wonders for this cryptocurrency and show some very promising results.

• WHAT OTHER CRYPTOS WOULD YOU LIKE TO BUY AND HOLD FOR THE LONG TERM?

The other cryptos i would like and hold for long term are:-

1. Bitcoin (BTC)
2. Tron (TRX)
3. Chainlink (LINK)
4. Rarible (RARI)
5. Aave (AAVE)
6. Steem (STEEM)
   7.Uniswap (UNI)
   All of these cryptocurrencies are great and i would love to invest in them.
