My favourite Indian TV Show - Contest 2 | Best Of India Contest Series | My Entry |

Hello, fellow Steemit users. There has been a recent development in the zone of tv series in India. Many new tv series were launched on several platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Many of them were good in their respective genres. Now as per the contest I am going to discuss my favorite tv series.

My favorite series is Mirzapur. It is there available on Amazon Prime. The series is based on the genre of crime. The series is about a crime family, The Tripathi family. They run all the illegal businesses in Mirzapur and have thus become the most feared. However, their power comes into danger when two brothers from a middle-class family become entangled in their business.

About The Series

Akhandanand Tripathi is the biggest mafia in Mirzapur. His son, Munna wants to please his father into handing him over the throne. Two brothers Guddu and Bablu from a middle family get involved in their business due to their trouble with Munna and their father running a case against him. The two seem to be spreading and flourishing the Tripathi's business. Munna because of his hatred for the two plans against them. His plan proves lethal for both him and the brothers, but more for the brothers as one of them along with other close people are killed by Munna.

In the second season, we see how Guddu takes his revenge. There are other new characters introduced in the show. Guddu along with the help of his dead wife's sister, Golu succeeds in getting his win over Munna. We see the Tripathi's' falling as the son is shot at the end and the father is taken elsewhere, injured.

Now, to answer a few questions of the contest.

Why is it my favorite show?

It is my favorite show as the show has got it all, suspense, drama, comedy, action and you rarely get to see all of this in one show. The storyline is very interesting. The plot has several twists and turns. Each episode will make you want to watch the next as they introduce a cliffhanger at the end. The dialogues in particular are epic. They are very funny and sarcastic. The characters have all played their roles very well.

Who is my favorite character and why?

My favorite character on the show is Munna Tripathi also known as Munna Bhaiya. The character is played by Divyendu Sharma. I like him as the character he plays is very comedic and has a certain sense of attitude in him. The way he reacts and handles a situation is always fun to watch. Some of his conversations are in particular very funny. Though he is the villain in the show but he is that kind of a villain whom the audience loves. His dialogues are very rare and epic.

How did I get to know about the show?

I got to know about the show through its trailer and also by the public reaction of how good it is on various platforms of social media.

Did I like the ending of the show? Or I wanted a different ending?

I liked the ending of the show. The ending was justifiable and was as expected. The chaos created in the first season had to be done right. I did not want a different ending.

Would I recommend this show to my friends, family and community and why?

I would definitely recommend this show to my friends. The series is fun to watch. The action and suspense are good. People would have a good time watching it. It also reflects on the flaws in the political system of our society. The show shows how cruel and messy politics can be when the wrong person takes command.
