In Utter Pradesh, when 18 people were mistakely given covacin vaccine after covishield vaccine, the combined use of two doses of vaccine was more effective than two doses of the some vaccine . Compound vaccine showed greater efficacy against Alpha, Beta and Delta variants, as well as greater levels of IGG antibodies. The number of antibodies to the virus was also found to be higher. The use of such compound vaccine is not only safe, but also produces excellent immunity.

The study was performed on 18 people who took the first dose of covishield, the second dose of covacin, as well as 40 people each who took both the dose of covishield and both doses of covacin. A comparative study was conducted between May and June of peoples receiving two compound doses of the same vaccine. Vaccine prepared with the help of 'Adenovirus' was give after vaccination using inactivated corona virus.

The covishield vaccine is made using the Adenovirus while the covacin contains the virion BBV152 virus

The report is published on the website MedRXIV.

covacin

I think you mistakenly wrote wrong spelling in this.

This mix dose might be more effective but study also shows that it might be more dangerous to some people. Let's see what happens...
